People reported symptoms such as anxiety, heart palpitations and nausea. In some cases Fen-Phen was linked to lingering heart problems. And in any case, after they stopped taking the pill, the weight usually came back – because other factors where not addressed. The small amount of weight loss was not worth the risk.
